Why we built DealRadar

Every price comparison site I used had the same blind spot: the secondhand market. Sites like PriceRunner show you Currys and Amazon. They don't show you the PS5 someone's selling on Vinted for £190.

That gap was genuinely frustrating. I'd spend 20 minutes finding the "cheapest" price for something, then stumble across a Vinted or eBay listing half an hour later that was £80 less. By then it was gone.

DealRadar fixes that. Type in any product and you see new prices from Amazon, used prices from eBay, and peer-to-peer prices from Vinted — in one search, in about three seconds, with no account needed.

The average saving when Vinted beats Amazon on the same product is 40–60%. On something like a PS5 or iPhone 15, that's often £150+ back in your pocket from a single search.

How the search works

Every search hits the eBay Browse API in real time for current listings, scrapes Amazon's public search results for retail prices, and checks Vinted for peer-to-peer deals. Results are filtered for relevance — no phone cases when you search for a phone — then ranked cheapest first. The entire thing runs in under 3 seconds.

We also save every search to build a price history. Come back a week later and you can see whether a product is trending up, down, or holding steady. That data is ours — no other price comparison site tracks Vinted pricing over time.

Price alerts

You can set a price alert on any product without creating an account. Enter your email and the price you want to pay. We'll email you when any listing across eBay, Amazon or Vinted drops to that level.

The network

DealRadar is the main hub. We also run PriceOwl (thepriceowl.com), CheapestFinder (cheapestfinder.app) and GadgetPricer (gadgetpricer.com) — each targeting a slightly different audience and search intent, all powered by the same comparison engine.

Affiliate disclosure

We earn a small commission from eBay and Amazon when you click through and make a qualifying purchase. This comes at no extra cost to you — the prices you see are the retailer's actual prices. Vinted links are direct with no affiliate relationship.

Commission is how we keep the service free. It does not influence which products appear or how results are ranked — cheapest is always shown first, regardless of which store it comes from.

A note on price accuracy

Live prices come from eBay's API and Amazon's public search pages, refreshed on every search. When Amazon blocks the request (they occasionally restrict cloud server access), we fall back to an AI estimate clearly labelled "Est." — treat these as a rough guide and always click through to verify before buying.

Affiliate disclosure: DealRadar participates in the eBay Partner Network and Amazon Associates Programme and earns commissions on qualifying purchases. This does not influence which products appear or how results are ranked.
